Kitesurfing Lessons
We provide training at beaches in Auckland and the surrounding area depending on the weather conditions of the day.
Learning to Kitesurf is a huge amount of fun, and we have you in the water from Day 1.
Anabatic training standards are the safest in NZ.
Anabatic equipment is all new latest model kites, the finest available.
Anabatic Instructors are experienced kiters and love what they do.
Anabatic Kite School is using 100% modern Bow Kite / SLE technology in all lessons.
We provide a quality and personal service & take the time to focus on your individual progression.
Our low student to Instructor ratio is a success story that proves riders can learn to kitesurf in 4 days or less.
So our group size is small, professionsal and our trainng methods are personal.
With a small group size and a great instructor you learn to kitesurf very quick.
As a former world class competition paragliding pilot, Flight Instructor and Training manager, the owner of Anabatic - Lee McClelland, brings an ingrained knowledge in risk management, assessment and student profiling into the business. This ensures our training programs are easily adjustable to suit your level of ability.
We also offer lessons mid week and at weekends.
During daylight savings we also run run late afternoon early evening courses.

Trainer Kite session Wind window, power zones and kite control, safety issues. Kite surf rig set up. Inflation, rigging bar and lines, carrying, packing, care and storage. Water session Safety systems, 4 line power control systems, body dragging, speed and power control. Discussion on days progress and safety issues
DAY 2Review of progress and student assessment. Comprehensive practical water based training session. Directional body dragging Water relaunch Kite and board handling First board session Discussion on days progress and safety issues
DAY 3 @Review of progress and student assessment. Comprehensive practical water based training session. Directional body dragging and upwind board recovery. Water relaunch practice Board riding Board technique on direction speed and posture Discussion on days progress and safety issues ...More @ $80/hr Further days if required.
